Terms of Service

By creating a profile on MATCHORA, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

You must be at or above India's legal marriageable age — 18 for women, 21 for men — to create a profile. We check this against the date of birth you provide, and a profile that fails this check cannot be created.

Day-to-day sign-in is by phone number and password. First-time signup and forgotten- password recovery both use a one-time code sent to your email instead. You're responsible for keeping access to your password and your account's email secure, since anyone who can sign in with your password, or receive that code, can sign in as you.

Your profile must be about you (or, if you're a parent or guardian, the person you're representing) and must be accurate. Impersonating someone else, creating a fake or duplicate profile, or posting content that isn't genuinely yours is not allowed. We may remove a profile that violates this.

A profile is automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity (no login or edit) — see our Privacy Policy for details. You'll need to recreate it if you want to continue after that.

The expectation match and porutham match percentages shown alongside each suggested profile are computed by our matching engine from the information members provide. They're estimates meant to help you prioritize who to look at, not a guarantee of compatibility. The porutham score is a simplified check (Dina, Gana, and Rasi porutham) and does not replace a full jatakam reading by a professional astrologer.

Creating a profile is free. To browse matches, view contact details, and express interest, your account must be approved:

• ₹500, one time. Paid by UPI directly to MATCHORA, submitted with a payment reference and/or a screenshot. Once our team confirms it and approves your account, every match's photo and phone number is visible to you from then on — there is no further per-profile or per-day fee.
• ₹500 per astrologer porutham review. Optional, requested separately for any individual match, paid and confirmed the same way.

These are one-time, pay-per-use purchases — MATCHORA does not run monthly subscriptions. Payment is confirmed manually once submitted, and account approval is completed shortly after; see our Refund Policy for timing and how refunds work. Pricing may change; we'll update this page if it does.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or send unwanted or abusive messages to other members.
• Use contact information you see through MATCHORA to spam, solicit unrelated business, or contact someone for any purpose other than considering a match.
• Scrape, copy, or republish other members' profile data.
• Attempt to bypass account approval or access the platform without an approved account.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or remove an account that violates these rules.

MATCHORA verifies phone numbers and displays what each member chooses to share. We do not run background checks or independently verify identity, employment, income, horoscope details, or anything else a member states. Please verify details yourself before proceeding with any match.

MATCHORA is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee you'll find a match, and we're not liable for the conduct of any member you connect with through the service, or for decisions made based on information shown on the platform.

You can delete your profile at any time. We may remove a profile that violates these terms, with or without notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
