Why we built this

Finding a life partner should be one of the most hopeful parts of someone's life. For too many people, it isn't. We've watched friends and family go through the same exhausting cycle — endless profiles that all look the same, platforms that push you toward paying more without ever explaining why a match makes sense, and worse, the real risk of falling into a trap: fake profiles, people who aren't who they claim to be, and matchmakers more interested in your subscription than your actual future.

We built Matchora because we believe finding a genuine match shouldn't mean gambling with your trust, your family's expectations, or your money.

What we do differently

We ask what actually matters

Beyond a photo and a bio, Matchora asks the questions families really care about — income, job, home ownership, habits, family type, and more — answered both about yourself and about who you're looking for. Nothing gets buried.

We show our work

Every match comes with two honest scores, not one mystery number: how well your stated preferences line up, and a horoscope compatibility check based on rasi and natchathiram. You always see why someone was suggested, not just a percentage.

Real accounts, not spam

Every profile is tied to a unique phone number, and every account is confirmed with a one-time code before you can do anything else. We're upfront that we don't run independent background checks beyond that — we think it's more honest to say so clearly than to imply a guarantee we can't back.

Pricing you can explain to your family

No monthly subscription, no premium tier games. Creating a profile is free. Pay ₹500 once to get your account approved, and every match's contact details are yours to see from then on — no per-profile fees. An optional written porutham review from a real astrologer is ₹500 per request. That's the whole pricing page.

Matchora is for people who want to take their search seriously without being taken advantage of for it — and for families who want a say in the details that matter to them, not just a photo and a swipe.
